## pyre volume iscsi

Show an iSCSI volume's target, portal, port and CHAP secret; set its portal or turn CHAP off

### Synopsis

Prints what an initiator needs to connect to an iSCSI volume: the
target IQN, the portal address and port, and the CHAP user and secret,
with ready-to-paste Linux and Windows lines.

The portal is the address OTHER machines use to reach the target -- the
LAN address of the computer that runs the volume's appliance. Unset, the
target is reached from that computer only, at 127.0.0.1.

```
pyre volume iscsi <volume> [flags]
```

### Examples

```
  pyre volume iscsi vmimages
  pyre volume iscsi vmimages --portal 192.168.1.20
  pyre volume iscsi vmimages --clear-portal
  pyre volume iscsi vmimages --no-chap      # an open target, for initiators without CHAP
  pyre volume iscsi vmimages -o json
```

### Options

```
      --chap            require CHAP again (the default)
      --clear-portal    forget the portal: the target is then reached from its own computer only
  -h, --help            help for iscsi
      --no-chap         make the target OPEN: no login, anyone who reaches the portal can read and write it
      --portal string   the address other machines use to reach this volume's target (IPv4, IPv6 or host name)
```

### Options inherited from parent commands

```
      --api string       API base URL (default from the profile, or https://api.pyredata.io)
      --ca-cert string   PEM file with an extra CA to trust (self-hosted managers)
      --insecure         skip TLS certificate verification (lab use only)
  -o, --output string    output format: table, json or plain (default "table")
      --profile string   config profile to use (see: pyre config)
  -q, --quiet            print results only, no notices
      --token string     API token (default from the profile; prefer PYRE_TOKEN in scripts)
  -y, --yes              answer yes to every confirmation (for scripts)
```
