## pyre export extract

Copy the volume's files out of the export into a folder, on any platform

### Synopsis

Reads the ext4 filesystem the appliance kept on an SMB or NFS volume
straight from the media or the downloaded zip files, decrypting blocks
as they are needed, and copies every file, directory and symlink to
--to. Nothing is mounted, unpacked or written first. A file that cannot
be read is reported and skipped; the rest still comes out. With
--image, reads an image written by pyre export open instead. An iSCSI
volume has no filesystem pyre can read (you chose it): use pyre export
open for the disk image.

```
pyre export extract <directory or zip>... [flags]
```

### Examples

```
  pyre export extract /media/disc1 --key ~/.pyre/pyre-backups.key --to ~/restored/backups
  pyre export extract ~/pyre-copy --to ~/restored/docs           # a download of a volume that was not encrypted
  pyre export extract --image backups.img --to ~/restored/backups
```
