## pyre export

A copy of a volume: downloaded from a link, or on tape or disc; opened with your key

### Synopsis

An export is a volume's blocks copied off the hub, exactly as the
storage holds them, plus a checksum manifest: on media (a physical
export) or as zip files behind a temporary download link. An encrypted
volume leaves as the ciphertext the appliance wrote and opens only with
its key file. You open it on any computer with pyre: no account,
appliance or network needed.
